The world is darker now. Different than it once was. Different than when time was young. The woods still whisper of an age where hope was not so hard to find. Where the stars burned bright and would guide travelers' to hope and light.
Before the stars began to fall.
Before the light ceased to be light. And the stars no longer burned bright, the encroaching darkness was not night, but something more, it was the loss of light. And even the stars would lead the lost further into the darkness and eliminating all light.
But that is another age. Some might even say a different world. Yet it is this world. A world I won’t give up hope on, because when the stars fall, someone must continue to carry the light. How else can the darkness be kept at bay?
I am Morrwyn, the Lantern Keeper.
And when nothing else will..... I will keep the dark at bay, because, I haven't yet lost my way.
Until the stars return....
